Commercial Water Damage – Burnsville Hotel

Commercial water damage occurred at this Burnsville hotel meeting room when the fire-suppressant sprinkler system malfunctioned. The meeting room ended up with ninety percent of the commercial grade carpeting covered in water. Water extraction from the short napped commercial grade carpeting was done with truck mounted heavy duty pumps and a number of portable wet-vacs. We employed low grain and gel based humidifiers along with commercial air movers to remove the residual moisture in the air which is critical to getting the area back to preloss condition. The white tubing shown in the picture above directs the high humidity air to the outside of the building. The quicker this is done, the better as it helps prevent moisture damage to the walls and ceiling.
