Storm Damage – Burnsville House

Storm damage to this Burnsville house that was under construction left a significant amount of water standing on the floors. Fortunately, the laminate flooring which was scheduled to be installed had not been put in place. The windows had not been installed, and the contractor was waiting until they were installed before putting the flooring down. We extracted the standing water from the exposed subflooring, but our moisture detection meters indicated that the subflooring material had absorbed a lot of moisture and would require extra drying efforts. We set up commercial air movers throughout the house along with dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process. The extra drying was completed within three days allowing the contractor to continue with his work.
